The Markeint story

Around 1990, when I was 6 years old, my mother, who is a renowned journalist in Costa Rica (she is already retiring), began a stage of her life as a press officer for the presidential office of the Government.

Thanks to that she managed to get a Macintosh Classic computer for our home, or was it in 91? jumm I don't remember well, but the fact that we were one of the first houses in the country to have a commercial computer and internet connetion! There I started drawing and writing was more fun than any video game console, which we never had.

My father worked most of his life in media and audio production for Radio Nederland, then he had an advertising agency. Life at home always revolved around communications, but my obsession was computers and then the Internet.

By 2005 I was already starting to work with big brands, the future seemed bright, project after project. Until one day 2008 arrived, the crisis made me move because everything changed... 

But like some, these crises help us to be stronger and look for other paths. But something that amazes me is how, regardless of every crisis, shock, market change, Covid, you name it, since 2005 there has not been a week without me being in contact with brands, institutions, organizations, companies to provide them with what they need.
